Copyright and DMCA policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026

MovieReleaseDate.in respects the rights of copyright owners and responds to valid notices of infringement, including notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

Images, posters and trailers

Film posters, stills, logos and trailers shown on this site belong to their respective owners (studios, producers, distributors and streaming platforms). They are used to identify the films being discussed. Trailers are embedded from the official channels where they were published; we do not host copies of films.

How to submit a copyright complaint

Email support@moviereleasedate.in with the subject “Copyright / DMCA notice” and include:

  1. identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
  2. the exact URL(s) on MovieReleaseDate.in where the material appears;
  3. your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  4. a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
  6. your physical or electronic signature.

You can also reach us through the contact page, but email is the fastest route for legal notices.

What we do with a notice

  • We aim to review complete notices within three working days.
  • Where a notice is valid, the material is removed or replaced and we confirm this by email.
  • Incomplete notices may be returned with a request for the missing information.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same email address explaining why, with your contact details and a statement made in good faith.
