Lag Ja Gale Story
The makers have kept the plot under wraps. Early reports describe a mix of action, romance and commercial entertainment built around its three leads.
Release date and status
The 14 May 2027 release date was announced in June 2026, which places Lag Ja Gale among Dharma Productions' main theatrical releases for summer 2027. We list the date as expected because no trailer or promotional campaign has started yet.
About the film
Raj Mehta, who directed Good Newwz, JugJugg Jeeyo and Selfiee for Dharma, moves into more action-driven territory here. The film brings together Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya, who made his debut in Kill (2024).
The most talked-about part so far is a dance-off between Tiger and Lakshya. According to reports, it was filmed at Mumbai's Mukesh Mills in December 2025, was choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and used more than 100 professional dancers. Reports said the number was designed to set Tiger's athletic, high-energy style against Lakshya's more fluid moves.
