Love Story Abhimanyu Ki Release Date: 30 October 2026

The trailer shows a love story between a young woman, Simple Yadav, and a Muslim man, Waseem Khan, and the pressure that builds when her family starts arranging her marriage. The team says the film mixes romance with action, drama and family conflict.

Why the title changed

After the trailer came out in February 2026, some members of the Yadav community in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, protested against the title and the story, and police registered a case against the producer, director and lead actors. A petition asked the Supreme Court to block the title and the release. On 25 February 2026 the court dismissed it, saying the title had no word that showed the community in a negative light. The makers still chose a new name, announced at a press conference in Delhi on 14 October 2026.

Release date

The makers announced 30 October 2026 at that press conference, and the film was certified A by the CBFC on 18 September 2026 with a runtime of 2 hours 2 minutes, per Bollywood Hungama. We mark the date as confirmed.
