The large ensemble was confirmed in early September 2024, and filming ran from September to December 2024. It was first planned for Diwali 2024.

Bollywood Hungama was an exception at 3.5/5, calling it a crowd-pleasing comedy carried by Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and an unpredictable climax.
