Naagzilla is a Hindi creature comedy starring Kartik Aaryan and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the director of Fukrey. It was meant to release on Independence Day 2026 but was pushed to 12 February 2027, the Valentine's Day weekend.

Naagzilla Story
Naagzilla is planned as the first chapter of a trilogy. Ancient snake legends collide with the modern world when a mystical being comes out of Naag Lok to face a threat nobody has seen before.
Release date and the delay
Naagzilla was first set for 14 August 2026. In April 2026 the makers moved it to 12 February 2027. Times of India, Hindustan Times and NDTV all reported the new date, and The Hollywood Reporter India noted that it targets the Valentine's weekend. We mark 12 February 2027 as confirmed.
A creature comedy
The film mixes comedy with fantasy and action, in the same space as recent Hindi horror-comedy hits. Kartik Aaryan has done well with this kind of film before in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa series. Here the hook is a snake creature from Indian folklore instead of a ghost, and the makers have said this is the start of a trilogy.
