Kaali Kheti Story

Set in a village, Kaali Kheti deals with family, legacy and buried truths, and blends them with horror. The makers have not revealed how the characters played by Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar connect to the central mystery.

Release date and status

Kaali Kheti was first announced for theatres on 23 October 2026. In early October the makers pushed it back by four weeks, and it is now set to release on 20 November 2026. No reason was given for the delay. We mark the new date as expected because the film has already moved once.

About the film

Kaali Kheti is set against a rural backdrop. According to the makers, its story revolves around secrets buried in the village and the family at its centre. Character posters released with the new date show Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar in the rural setting but reveal little about their roles.
