Release date and status
When filming began on 24 April 2026, the makers released a video ending with the line "Shoot begins. #SalmanKhan VamshiPaidipally Film EID 2027." Salman Khan Films has also described it as an Eid 2027 release. The Hollywood Reporter India has reported that the film is eyeing 5 March 2027, the same day T-Series has fixed for Prabhas's Spirit, while IMDb lists 10 March 2027. The makers themselves have only said Eid 2027. Until the makers name a day, we treat 5 March as reported and Eid 2027 as the official window.
About the project
SVC63 stands for Sri Venkateswara Creations' 63rd production. It is Salman Khan's first film with Vamshi Paidipally, the Telugu director of Maharshi and Varisu, and his first on-screen pairing with Nayanthara. Reports said the team began with action blocks on a large set built in Mumbai. In his Instagram post, Salman joked that fans should "think ahead", which is why Eid had been announced so early.
