IMDb describes an epic action saga set in the late 1960s. Two rival groups, the Afghan Trading Company and the Golden Trading Company, fight to control the opium trade, and much of the action takes place where the borders of India, China and Bhutan meet in the Golden Triangle.

Release date

Dragon was first set for 25 June 2026 and later moved to 11 June 2027. In early October 2026, Jr NTR had hand surgery and was reportedly advised six weeks of rest, which led to talk of another delay. Speaking at the pre-release event of Don't Trouble The Trouble, Ravi Shankar Yellamanchili of Mythri said the film will release on 11 June 2027 as planned. India Today, NDTV and Times of India reported this. We mark the date as confirmed.
