Release date history
Spirit Story
IMDb describes the story in one line: a brutal but honest cop goes on a mission to catch criminals. It is Prabhas's first role as a policeman.
Release date change
T-Series had announced 5 March 2027. The makers have since locked 29 October 2027 for the Diwali holiday and released a new poster. Times of India, News18 and The Indian Express report that Spirit will now clash with Ramayana: Part 2, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sunny Deol. Because both dates come from the makers, we mark 29 October 2027 as confirmed and keep 5 March in the release history.
Vanga and Prabhas
Vanga's last film, Animal, was one of the biggest Hindi hits of 2023. Spirit is his first film with Prabhas and is expected to be made in several Indian languages. IMDb lists Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Chinese.
