Focker-in-Law Release Date: 25 November 2026 Expected

Greg and Pam Focker's grown-up son Henry (Skyler Gisondo) wants to propose to Olivia (Ariana Grande), a life coach and former FBI hostage negotiator whom his family considers a complete mismatch. Jack Byrnes (De Niro), the retired CIA agent who once put Greg through the wringer, now turns his scrutiny on the next generation.

Release date

Universal Pictures will release the film in the US and Canada on 25 November 2026, and Paramount Pictures will handle other territories. The film has been classified by Ireland's IFCO at 105 minutes. An India release date has not been announced, so we list the US date as expected.

Making the sequel

A new Fockers film was reported in development in December 2024. John Hamburg, who co-wrote the earlier films, was confirmed as writer-director in March 2025, with a story by Hamburg, Ilana Glazer and Austen Earl. Ariana Grande joined in May 2025, Paramount came on as co-producer in June, and Owen Wilson returned as Kevin. The title Focker-in-Law was revealed in July 2025. Filming ran in New York from 18 August to 1 November 2025.

The first trailer was released on 15 April 2026 and shows Olivia taking a lie-detector test, a nod to the first film. No streaming date has been announced.
