Lakadbaggha 2 Release Date: 6 November 2026 | Anshuman Jha

Arjun's fiancée Akshara disappears while investigating animal trafficking on Bondega, an island run by a kingpin named Mario. To reach Mario, Arjun enters his martial arts tournament, which is really a cover for auctioning the last Yaki monkey.

Release date

The teaser poster was released on 15 March 2026, Jha's birthday, with the line "In Cinemas Diwali 2026". Times of India reported that Jha chose to keep the date even though it puts the film up against Ramayana: Part 1. Listings and the IMDb page give 6 November 2026. We mark the date as confirmed, since it comes from the makers' Diwali announcement and matches current listings.

What carries over from the first film

Lakadbaggha (2023) was sold as an Indian hand-to-hand combat film about a man who protects stray dogs in Kolkata. The sequel keeps the animal-welfare theme but moves the action to an island and a fighting tournament. The makers describe it as "the biggest hand-to-hand combat action film from India", with "a bigger hunt" and "a wilder jungle".
