Release strategy
Amazon Prime Video included the film in its 2026 slate announcement in March 2026, and it opened in cinemas on 4 September 2026. A day before release, a PIL filed in the Allahabad High Court sought a stay, alleging obscenity, abusive language, excessive violence and derogatory references to Mirzapur district. The court declined interim relief because the respondents had not been given sufficient notice, and adjourned the hearing for four weeks, to October 2026.
OTT release
Prime Video has not announced a streaming date for the film as of 25 September 2026. Amazon MGM Studios is one of its producers.

The first song, "Do Numbari" by Haryanvi rapper Dhanda Nyoliwala, was released on 3 August 2026. "Vaaroon Forever" is an extended version of "Vaaroon" from the series, again composed by Anand Bhaskar, written by Ginny Diwan and sung by Romy, with Shreya Ghoshal on female vocals.
Certification and runtime
The CBFC issued an 'A' certificate on 29 August 2026.
